It looks like DeVante Parker avoided an injury scare. After leaving Monday’s practice with a hamstring injury, Parker took part in the Miami Dolphins’ Tuesday session, according to Miami Herald reporter Armando Salguero.
DeVante Parker practicing, fantasy value remains high
We explore the fantasy implications of DeVante Parker practicing the day after suffering a hamstring injury.
While it was only a walkthrough, it still showed that Parker is fine and should be ready for Week 1. He battled a similar issue earlier in training camp, so this will be something to watch going into the regular season.
Parker has already shown durability concerns after having foot surgery in 2015. That slowed his progress as a rookie, but he did catch 22 passes for 445 yards and three scores over his final six games.
Fantasy Spin: As long as Parker is healthy, he should put up decent numbers in Miami’s offense. Unfortunately, the presence of Jarvis Landry, Jordan Cameron and Kenny Stills may prevent Parker from producing week-to-week.
His current ADP is a tad high for a player without a full season of work under his belt. Still, Parker should be a decent WR2 for your fantasy team this year.
