The San Francisco 49ers should get running back Carlos Hyde back soon. Hyde has progressed enough in the NFL concussion protocol to resume practicing, according to CSN Bay Area reporter Matt Maiocco.
Carlos Hyde progressing in concussion protocol, fantasy value still high
We explore the fantasy implications of Carlos Hyde progressing towards a return from his concussion.

Maiocco did note that Hyde can only participate in non-football activity as he goes through the protocol. Hyde suffered his concussion against the Green Bay Packers on Aug. 26, so he is making good progress less than a week after the injury.
Fantasy Spin: Hyde remains on track to be the 49ers’ workhorse back this season if he can avoid the injury bug. The third-year back has missed 11 games through his first two NFL seasons, which makes him a risky fantasy option in 2016.
Hyde’s current ADP is far too high for a back who has yet to show he can produce over a full 16-game season. He cannot even make it out of the preseason without an injury, so try and avoid Hyde in your fantasy draft unless the value is too good to pass on.
