The New York Jets are still without Brandon Marshall. The veteran receiver was not seen at Tuesday’s practice as he deals with a hip injury, according to nj.com reporter Connor Hughes.
Brandon Marshall still missing practice, fantasy value remains high
We break down the fantasy impact of Brandon Marshall still dealing with a hip injury.
Marshall missed the Jets’ third preseason game and Monday’s practice due to this injury. Head coach Todd Bowles has downplayed the injury as just hip soreness, but it is concerning that Marshall is still missing practice.
Part of that is due to Marshall’s history of hip issues that had him contemplate retirement in recent years. The Jets are likely just playing it safe with the 32-year-old receiver, but this is something to watch going into the regular season.
Fantasy Spin: When healthy, Marshall is as good of a fantasy receiver as you can have. His current ADP has him going in the Round 2-3 range as a high-end WR1.
While Marshall should keep producing as such, his age and previous hip issues make him a risky pick that high.
