Yusra Mardini wins her 1st heat in 100-meter butterfly as part of Olympic refugee team

One of the most inspirational athletes of the 2016 Rio Olympics is Yusra Mardini, who over a year ago helped save the lives of 20 people fleeing from Syria to Greece by pushing their boat for three hours to prevent it from capsizing.

On Saturday, Mardini won her first heat in the 100-meter butterfly on Saturday for the first-ever Olympic Refugee Team.
