Last week we celebrated a big hit by Penn State kicker Joey “Big Toe” Julius, in which he used all 259 pounds of his kicking frame to level a Kent State return man. But I have sad news to report: Today, he was the victim of a similar hit:
Pitt leveled Penn State’s large kicker, which would be illegal even if he wasn’t a national treasure
KEEP YOUR HANDS OFF BIG TOE.

KEEP YOUR HANDS OFF OUR BEAUTIFUL BOY. LET THE LARGE KICKING MAN RUN WITHOUT FEAR.
That was a personal foul on Pitt’s Saleem Brightwell, because, well, it’s illegal to just randomly level a kicker who isn’t paying attention. But this is about more than football: This is about respecting a college football folk hero. May he sprint through the fields in peace.
