Notre Dame’s Jarron Jones enters the race for the Piesman

When you say a defensive lineman sniffed out a screen pass, you usually mean he was there to make the tackle before things could get moving. Jarron Jones has found an alternative meaning, however: just step in front of the pass and intercept it.

Those are coverage skills; I see no reason why Notre Dame can’t start matching up Jones against the other team’s top wideout. (Bump-and-run coverage only, of course.)
