Dustin Johnson fired a final-round 67 on Sunday to hold off Paul Casey by three strokes to win the 2016 BMW Championship at Crooked Stick in Carmel, Ind. For winning the tournament, Johnson pocketed a cool $1.53 million to continue what has been a banner season for him.

The total purse for the BMW Championship, like all four FedExCup Playoff events, is $8.5 million.

Johnson’s victory at 23-under moves him to the top of the FedEx Cup points standings with the Tour Championship two weeks away in Georgia. The win at Crooked Stick was his third of the season, and 12th win of his career.

The 2016 US Open winner has now earned over $9 million in 2016 alone, his best to date on the PGA Tour. Johnson, 32, also won the BMW Championship in 2010.

Another big winner this weekend was J.B. Holmes, who was 2-over on Sunday but finished at 12-under for the tournament in a tie for fourth place. That was good enough to move him from 42nd in FedExCup points to 28th. That earned him a spot in the Tour Championship, where the top 30 fight it out not only for a share of an $8.5 million purse, but also a $35 million bonus fund doled out based on final FedExCup standings.
