The Kansas City Chiefs are listing Jamaal Charles as doubtful vs. the New York Jets. Charles was listed as limited in practice all week, so seeing him likely sit out Week 3 is no surprise.

Jamaal Charles continues to recover from last year’s ACL tear.

Charles is recovering from a torn ACL suffered in the 2015 season. Kansas City has been cautious with his rehab because of his value to the team, as well as Spencer Ware performing well in Charles’ absence.
It remains hard to pinpoint when Charles returns, but it should come sooner rather than later.
Fantasy Impact: You obviously will not start Charles this week, which means Ware remains a must-start in all fantasy leagues. Even against a stout Jets defense, Ware is too good of a dual-threat back to not produce for your fantasy team.
As for Charles, be patient and keep him on your roster, even though cutting or trading him may seem tempting. His upside as the season rolls on is far too high to pass on now.
