Sit back, relax, and enjoy a full minute of Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson burying 3-pointers

It’s always fun watching NBA players do crazy things in practice.

Everyone knows that NBA players are incredibly talented athletes who make even the toughest plays look easy. Sometimes an untimely miss or in-game mistake will make us forget just how otherworldly skilled they really are, though. That’s when videos from practice come in handy to remind us that these guys truly are on another level.

This clip of Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson not missing a bucket for 75 seconds is the perfect example.

They each hit nine consecutive three-pointers, including a few coming after dribble moves, before Durant barely missed one. That’s nothing compared to the 77 consecutive threes Stephen Curry hit once, but it’s mesmerizing just the same. Those guys are obviously two of the best shooters in the league, so it shouldn’t be surprising to see them make unguarded jumpers. The ease with which they make them, though, is just absurd.

It’s not just the biggest stars who can make things that are extremely hard to pull off look easy. Nik Stauskas, who was traded by the Kings after just one disappointing season and couldn’t grab a permanent starting spot with the 76ers, can make 46 consecutive buckets like it’s not a big deal.

Players who are not known for their in-game shooting can also make jumpers during practice. Dwight Howard is a career 57 percent free-throw shooter. Here he is swishing shots from the line and even hitting some elbow jumpers.

Even the top prospects can hit crazy shots. A very young Karl-Anthony Towns and Andrew Wiggins had an impromptu deep three-point contest at the Nike Hoop Summit in 2013 and made some ridiculous buckets.

So yeah, NBA players are amazingly good at what they do. We all know it, but that doesn’t mean these practice videos will ever stop being amazing to watch.
