Here’s how Vikings and Eagles fans reacted to the Sam Bradford trade

On Saturday morning the Vikings and Eagles shocked the football world when they finalized a trade that would send Sam Bradford to Minnesota. This wasn’t just an ordinary trade. It unfolded in a fascinating way.

Wade Phillips was the first to break the news when nobody noticed.

The best part of Phillips breaking the news is that he’s since deleted the tweet. This means he actually knew, and got yelled at by somebody.

Adam Schefter then reported the news 26 minutes after Wade Phillips.

At the time the trade made perfect sense. The Vikings were in dire need of a starting quarterback after Teddy Bridgewater went down, and this could really work out -- for the right price.

Then we all learned that the price was not right.

The Vikings are mortgaging their future for the chance at winning right now. Obviously this was going to generate a lot of feelings.

Vikings fans over at Daily Norseman did their best to cope with the news.

Meanwhile Eagles fans at Bleeding Green Nation were losing it when they found out they got a first-round pick from the Vikings.

Sam Bradford became the most-talked about man in the NFL for a few hours — for the first time in his career.
