It looks like Thomas Rawls will not get a full workload in Week 1. Head coach Pete Carroll said Wednesday that Rawls would be limited in the number of plays he gets vs. the Miami Dolphins, according to ESPN reporter Sheil Kapadia.

Carroll added that Week 1 of the regular season will be like the second preseason game from Rawls, who is still recovering from a broken ankle suffered last season. He missed most of training camp and the preseason, so it makes sense that the Seattle Seahawks are taking it slow with his return.
This comes on the heels of Seattle’s first depth chart having Rawls behind Christine Michael at running back.
Fantasy Spin: There is little doubt Rawls will play in Week 1, but the Seahawks continue to stress his limited workload. That hurts his fantasy prospects against a bad Dolphins defense.
Rawls is barely ranked inside the top 25 running backs for Week 1. That is how you should view him going into this game, so do not plan on starting him.
