Julio Jones re-aggravated toe injury vs. Seahawks

The Atlanta Falcons’ offense was on a roll all day Saturday against the Seattle Seahawks, and they did a good portion of it without wide receiver Julio Jones.

Jones suffered a foot injury during the second half of the game, and was ruled questionable to return. Prior to the injury, Jones had six receptions for 67 yards and a touchdown for the Falcons.

For weeks, Jones has been dealing with a turf toe injury, which even kept him out of some games during the regular season. With the lead pretty comfortable for the Falcons, it appeared that Dan Quinn wasn’t going to risk making the injury worse.

After the game, head coach Dan Quinn told reporters that Jones aggravated the same injury, but it appears things might not be so bad:

The Falcons are set to take on the winner of the Packers vs. Cowboys game on Sunday, and Jones’ injury is without a doubt a big part of that equation.
