Eric Fisher’s hold on 2-point conversion cost Chiefs the game vs. Steelers

A brutal penalty.

After converting on a fourth-and-2, the Chiefs were able to get into the end zone, making it an 18-16 game.

They went for the 2-point conversion, and it appeared that they had made it in easy fashion, after Alex Smith found a receiver wide open in the back of the end zone.

Unfortunately for the Chiefs, Eric Fisher was called for holding and the play was brought back, plus 10 yards for the penalty.

It might have been a little easier to call when one of the strongest players in the league, James Harrison, couldn’t get past.

The following attempt failed, and the Chiefs remained down two with less than three minutes to go.

The holding ended up costing the Chiefs the game, as they lost 18-16.
