Bill Belichick not worried about what Antonio Brown puts on ‘InstaChat’

Belichick’s also still not using the very popular social media platform “SnapFace.”

Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown posted a Facebook Live video Sunday that featured a profanity-laced tirade about the New England Patriots from his head coach, Mike Tomlin. Patriots coach Bill Belichick was unbothered by it, saying Monday that he doesn’t care “what they put on InstaChat.”

“InstaChat” is the latest in a long line of Bill Belichick-created names for social media platforms he does not utilize. It joins other classics such as “SnapFace,” “InstantFace,” and “MyFace” in Belichick’s repertoire. At this point, it’s abundantly clear that he’s doing this on purpose.

After the Steelers beat the Chiefs and secured a spot in the AFC Championship against the Patriots, Brown shared video on Facebook Live of the postgame celebration in the locker room. That video included some strong language about Pittsburgh’s next opponent from Tomlin.

“We spotted those assholes a day and a half,” Tomlin said, regarding the postponement of the Steelers’ game to primetime because of an ice storm in Kansas City.

Belichick isn’t the only person in the Patriots locker room who seems unbothered by Tomlin’s comments. Linebacker Dont’a Hightower was similarly unconcerned during a radio appearance on Monday.

“I don’t care,” Hightower said on the Ordway, Merloni & Fauria Show on Boston’s WEEI. “Is that supposed to hurt my feelings?”

Regardless of what Belichick and Hightower say about it, the Patriots may have a little extra motivation to beat the Steelers in the AFC Championship.
