Aaron Rodgers is the latest NFL player to get sick this week

Nobody is safe.

Earlier Friday, we found out that Jordy Nelson had not practiced because he was suffering from an illness, and the Packers were keeping him away from the rest of the team.

Apparently that wasn’t enough, because now it appears that Aaron Rodgers has fallen ill himself, according to Jason Wilde of ESPN.

Besides the Packers, the Steelers were also trying to avoid a flu bug, but it had already affected a handful of their players. So far, it hasn’t been any key stars on the offense or defense.

Rodgers being under the weather certainly didn’t take away from his fire, though. He took a jab at the Falcons for having been caught by the NFL for pumping in fake crowd noise in the 2013 and 2014 seasons.

He also stopped flu game comparisons to Michael Jordan, fast.

The Packers are going to need Rodgers at full strength on Sunday. They’re already limited at wide receiver with Nelson practicing in a limited capacity on Wednesday and Thursday because of a rib injury he suffered in the Wild Card round. Davante Adams is also nursing an ankle injury, and Geronimo Allison has a pulled hamstring.

Perhaps everybody should just stay at home until Sunday.
