Devonta Freeman’s goal-line touchdown catch was as close as it gets

After review, Freeman was awarded the score.

The Atlanta Falcons’ offense looked unstoppable for the greater part of three quarters against the Packers on Sunday, and it included this amazingly close touchdown reception by Devonta Freeman.

Freeman was contested at the goal line by the Packers’ Morgan Burnett, and made a great effort to hang on for the catch. At first, it was not ruled a touchdown, but after review, it counted, and extended the Falcons’ lead to 37-7 after a missed extra point.

Aaron Rodgers has been known to make some great comebacks in his day, but it looks like just about any effort would be too late now.
