Tom Brady probably has many, many thoughts about Deflategate and NFL commissioner Roger Goodell, but so far he’s been able to keep them all private.
Super Bowl 2017: Tom Brady might share his true feelings on Roger Goodell if the Patriots win
The highly anticipated finale to the show no one wanted to watch is upon us.

Now the quarterback is hinting that he may finally be free to speak his mind if the Patriots emerge victorious in Super Bowl LI.
Speaking to WEEI radio in Boston on Monday, Brady was asked if he’s thought about the conversation between him and Goodell if the man who suspended him for four games because of Deflategate had to hand over the Lombardi Trophy.
“Maybe I’ll tell you after,” Brady said. “But I don’t want to get into winning something before we’ve won it, because it’s going to be hard to win this thing.”
This is easily the most intriguing storyline so far heading into the Super Bowl. Goodell has been infamously avoiding the Patriots and their fans for the last two seasons, ducking away from a most hostile environment in New England. DeflateGate became the story no one wanted to continue as Goodell pushed on in his quest to “protect the shield.”
Now it all comes to a head at the biggest sporting event of the year. If Brady gets his ultimate revenge, the tongue lashing he unleashes on Goodell and the league has the potential to make this whole dumb story totally worth it.
The series finale of Deflategate airs on Fox at 6:30 p.m. ET this Feb. 5, live from Houston, Texas, and is shaping up to be the only good episode of its two-year run.
