Like extreme sports? Do you love them even more when there’s snow and ice everywhere and the temperatures are plunging to the point that frigid is an acceptable adjective? Well, you’re in luck because the 2017 Winter X Games are about to open up in Aspen, Colo. Thursday, Jan. 26, and Day 1 is going to have six different events and several finals.

Day 1 has a full schedule, including several finals, for fans of the Winter X Games to watch.


Starting the Winter X games will be the Special Olympics Unified Snowboarding Final, which begins at 1:30 p.m. ET. That will be followed by the Men’s Ski Slope Style Qualifying at 2:30 p.m., with Snowmobile SnoCross Adaptive Final and Snowmobile SnoCross Round 1 and Final coming at 4 p.m. and 4:30 p.m., respectively. At 10 p.m., the Women’s Snowboard Big Air Final will take place, and the nightcap on Day 1 will be the Men’s Snowboard Super Pipe Final at 10:45 p.m.
This year, the Day 1 schedule will be nearly as packed as the other three days of the Winter X Games, though all of them will likely be full of outstanding performances by the best extreme winter sports athletes in the world.
