Houston Texans defensive end Jadeveon Clowney picked off a Connor Cook screen pass in the first quarter of the wild card matchup against the Oakland Raiders. It wasn’t an easy pick, but after juggling it, Clowney hauled it in.

Clowney came away with his first career interception.

Clowney was in a position to turn the pick into a score, but Latavius Murray made a heroic effort to bring Clowney down by his feet.
Up to that point, Connor Cook had thrown three screen passes, and Clowney had blown up two of them. It was Clowney’s first career NFL interception. Clowney didn’t have any interceptions in college, either.
The pick put the Texans on the Raiders’ 4-yard line, and Lamar Miller ran it in for a touchdown to give Houston a 10-0 lead over Oakland.
