The beginning to DeShone Kizer’s career with the Cleveland Browns hasn’t been the cleanest start, but it’s hard to pin too much blame of the rookie when his receivers aren’t doing him any favors.
Browns WR Kenny Britt dropped a ball into a defender’s arms in back-to-back games
DeShone Kizer isn’t being helped by his receivers at all.

A week ago, Browns receivers dropped eight passes, including one that bounced off the hands of Kenny Britt and turned into an interception. In Week 4, the same exact thing happened against the Cincinnati Bengals.
That’s not a perfect spiral, but that’s more than catchable for Britt. Instead, for the second time in two weeks, a ball bounced off his hands and into the arms of a defender.
The easy interception for Bengals safety Clayton Fejedelem was already the eighth of the year for Kizer. That’s pretty rough, but please Cleveland, will you give the poor rookie some help?
