Jameis Winston left the Buccaneers’ game against the Cardinals after going down hard on his throwing shoulder.
Jameis Winston leaves game vs. Cardinals with shoulder injury
Winston’s MRI revealed he’s dealing with a shoulder sprain.

The team ruled him questionable to return with the injury, even after he tried to play through it.
Winston had an MRI Monday. It’s not known yet if he’ll miss any time:
Winston completed 61 percent of his passes coming into Sunday, with 1,198 yards, seven touchdowns, and three picks.
What does this mean for the Buccaneers? It’s Fitzmagic time. Ryan Fitzpatrick took over at quarterback (and so did his curse) for the Bucs the rest of the day. If Winston has to sit out any other games, Fitzpatrick will get the call again.
On Sunday, Fitzpatrick nearly led the Bucs to a comeback win. Down 31-0 in the third quarter, the team’s rally fell just short in a 38-33 loss. Fitzpatrick completed 22 of 32 passes for 290 yards, three touchdowns, and two interceptions.
Fitzpatrick got time in the Bucs’ Week 2 win over the Bears, though he threw just one pass that fell incomplete. He was the starter for the Jets for the majority of last season, where he was 3-8 in his starts. The year before that, he led the Jets to a 10-6 record, throwing for nearly 4,000 yards along with 31 touchdowns against 15 interceptions.
Depending on the severity of Winston’s injury, the Bucs will be hoping they get 2015 Fitzpatrick, as opposed to the one we saw in 2016.
