Cleveland Browns quarterback Kevin Hogan is making his first NFL start Sunday, and if he continues to play like he has so far against the Houston Texans, it might be his last.
What the hell is this Kevin Hogan pick-six?
The Browns thought DeShone Kizer was making too many mistakes. Kevin Hogan isn’t making things better.

After falling into a 10-3 hole, Hogan spotted the Texans another touchdown by throwing the easiest pick-six you’ll ever see.
The interception for Johnathan Joseph on an overthrown 3-yard pass came right after Hogan overthrew a 2-yard pass for an incompletion. On the next drive, Hogan threw another interception, this time to linebacker Dylan Cole.
With only a few seconds left in the first half, he threw a third interception to the Houston defense, and even the team’s Twitter account seemed fed up.
Rookie second-round pick DeShone Kizer started the first five games of the season for the Browns but leads the NFL in interceptions with nine and only threw three touchdowns. While he showed potential at times, he was benched because coach Hue Jackson said it wasn’t good for Kizer’s development to continue to play as a starter.
But Hogan gifting the other team points isn’t going to make Browns coaches feel any better. The only other quarterback on the roster is Cody Kessler, who started eight games in 2016.
If Hogan doesn’t get any better, maybe it’s time to give Kessler a chance? It definitely couldn’t hurt.
