The Chiefs pulled off the most perfect punt against the Steelers on Sunday. Dustin Colquitt hit a 43-yarder, which bounced inside the Steelers’ 1-yard line.
Look at this perfect Chiefs punt
It was great execution by the punt coverage team, too.

The punt came after the Chiefs weren’t able to capitalize on a Ben Roethlisberger interception and went three-and-out. Coverage was perfect, and Akeem Hunt was able to grab the ball on the bounce and keep it out of the end zone, avoiding a touchback. His teammates downed it at the 1-yard line.
It pinned the Steelers deep in their own territory, but it didn’t slow Ben Roethlisberger down. He hit tight end Vance McDonald for a 26-yard gain to kick off a drive that ended in a field goal. The Steelers lead the Chiefs 12-3. But that punt was still a thing of beauty.
