Martavis Bryant was reportedly not happy with the Steelers, and he let them know. The wide receiver is actively seeking a trade, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport. The team is aware Bryant is unhappy, Rapoport said.
Martavis Bryant says he’s happy to be with Steelers after trade rumors
Bryant says he is not seeking a trade.

But Bryant told reporters Monday he did not request a trade.
“No, I’m good, man. I’m good to go,” Bryant said. “I just want to play ball. Play this year out, finish strong, and just move on forward.
Mike Tomlin didn’t have much to say about it to reporters on Tuesday.
Bryant missed the entire 2016 season while serving a full-year suspension for a violation of the league’s substance abuse policy. It was Bryant’s second violation and suspension.
When he returned to the Steelers, Bryant said he wanted to have a “man-to-man” conversation with Ben Roethlisberger over Roethlisberger’s comments about his suspension. Mike Tomlin also had to ask Bryant and Sammie Coates to “play nice” on Twitter when the two got into it during the NFL draft.
In Pittsburgh, he’s just one piece of what should be a high-octane group. But the Steelers have struggled to get Le’Veon Bell going, and Ben Roethlisberger’s slow start has impacted the entire offense.
Bryant isn’t getting many targets. He’s the clear WR2 behind superstar Antonio Brown, but he also has to contend with Bell — one of the best receiving backs in the league — for targets. Eli Rogers and Juju Smith-Schuster are also getting looks from Roethlisberger.
So far this season, Bryant has 15 catches for 204 yards and a touchdown on 31 targets. And there are plenty of teams that need wide receivers who should be willing to entertain the possibility of trading for him.
