The play that was eventually ruled a touchdown after review looks exactly the same as the infamous Fail Mary did.
It’s been five years since Golden Tate’s controversial Monday Night Football touchdown against the Packers with replacement referees. Tate and Packers defensive back M.D. Jennings both went up for the ball, with Jennings appearing to intercept the pass. However, the ruling went in favor of the Seahawks, and they won the game.
This time around, we have the real officials that are much better and get things right more often than not.
Oh, and this was the right call, even though Giants safety Landon Collins disagrees.
