Bruce Arians refuted a report that he would not be returning as the Cardinals head coach in 2018 on Twitter Tuesday night.

ABC 15 in Phoenix made the report, which Arians claimed to be false:

He is currently under contract through the 2018 season.

Arians has been the head coach of the Cardinals since 2013, after leading the Colts to a 9-3 record in his 12 games as interim head coach in 2012 following Chuck Pagano’s leukemia diagnosis.

The Cardinals have been good under Arians. They’ve had just one season in which they didn’t have double-digit wins, which was last year. So far in the 2017 season, the Cardinals are 3-4, and currently third in the NFC West behind the Rams and Seahawks.

Arians’ health has been a concern of late. He has been hospitalized three times the past 11 months. In August of 2016, he had symptoms associated with Diverticulitis, affecting his digestive tract. Then in November, he received tests for chest pains he suffered after a Week 12 game against the Vikings. In February 2017, he underwent surgery to remove a cancerous spot in one of his kidneys.

However, in his new book where he revealed the removal of cancer, he expressed a new energy to coach. “I now realize more than ever nothing is guaranteed in life,” he wrote. “Every day needs to enjoyed and celebrated to the fullest. Roses need to be smelled, sunsets savored, time with family cherished.”

The Cardinals’ 2017 season has been a tough one. They lost David Johnson in the very first game of the season due to a wrist injury. This past week, Carson Palmer broke his arm in a shutout loss to the Rams.

But Arians insists he’s not done after this season. Or at the very least, he has yet to decide.

He told ESPN’s Ian Fitzsimmons, “I don’t know who put that out there,” Arians told Fitzsimmons. “But that’s something I never think about until the end of the season. I’m just focused on being 1-0 this week.”

Arians has a great challenge ahead of him based on what his team has already lost in 2017. If his contract is any measure, we’ll see him for at least one more season, but time will tell.
