Chicago Bears tight end Zach Miller appeared to break his leg after making a catch against the New Orleans Saints that ended up not counting anyway.
Zach Miller injured his leg for a Bears touchdown, and the refs took it away
This is incredibly unfortunate.

Miller sacrificed his body for the touchdown. He rolled over twice, and then released the ball. It led to a video review, and the call was overturned. Miller not only may have broken his leg but lost his touchdown.
You can get a better look at the injury here. The Bears gave an update on Miller’s injury Monday afternoon:
It sounds like he’s doing fine. He just wanted his touchdown.
The score would have made it a 14-9 game. Instead, the Bears eventually settled for a field goal to make it 14-6.
Coming into the game, Miller had 20 receptions for 236 yards and two touchdowns.
By the rulebook, the referees made the right call on the catch. But it’s awfully difficult to blame a guy for releasing the ball after he clearly had possession when he hurts his leg like that.
The reactions to the injury and non-touchdown were understandably strong.
Hopefully Miller is able to make a full recovery, and get back to playing football.
