Ben Roethlisberger hasn’t been terribly accurate against the Lions, but he put this pass to Smith-Schuster just where it needed to be.
Pittsburgh was deep in their own territory because the Lions turned it over on downs on the 1-yard line. The play ended up being a quarterback sneak, but Matthew Stafford took the snap in the shotgun. It didn’t work.
The play will go down in Steelers history.
With Smith-Schuster’s score, the Steelers took a 20-12 lead over the Lions.
