Sam Bradford isn’t having the smoothest return after a knee injury kept him out for three games. After two drives that ended with punts, his third finished with a safety when Leonard Floyd sacked him in his own end zone.
Sam Bradford was sacked for a safety after he stood in his own end zone forever
Throwing the ball quickly is smart when you’re in your own end zone.

The Minnesota Vikings quarterback can’t blame his offensive line for this one, though. He showed zero urgency and sat back in the end zone for way too long. He was a sitting duck for Floyd, who had to take a long route to get to the quarterback.
It’s important to get rid of the ball quickly when you’re backed up. Instead, Bradford held the ball for more than five seconds, which is never a good idea, even if you’re at midfield.
Bradford started the season with three touchdowns, no interceptions, and a 143 passer rating in Week 1. It looks like he may have some rust to shake off before he’s back to that player again.
