Lonzo Ball tallied 19 points, 13 assists and 12 rebounds in the Los Angeles Lakers’ Saturday night matchup against the Milwaukee Bucks. The 20-year-old Ball became the youngest player in NBA history to record a triple-double.

Ball passed LeBron James, who recorded a triple double at 20 years and 20 days old, then put up another one three days later. The Lakers’ rookie turned 20 years old on Oct. 27, making him 20 years and 15 days old when he recorded his first triple-double.
The Bucks beat the Lakers, 98-90.
Russell Westbrook, John Wall, Chris Paul, Chris Webber, Antoine Walker, Shareef Abdur-Rahim, Lamar Odom, Jrue Holiday, Tyreke Evans and Tony Wroten also posted triple-doubles at age 20, according to Basketball-Reference.
Jason Kidd also recorded a triple-double as a rookie, but he was 22 years old. He also posted two in back-to-back games, including three in a five-game stretch.
Ball also fell one assist shy of a triple double in Los Angeles’ Oct. 20 win over the Phoenix Suns. He would have been age 19.
The Lakers drafted Ball No. 2 overall in the 2017 NBA draft, and despite the highlights in his game, his unusual shooting form has made headlines early on. But if he continues to fill the stat sheets and keep Los Angeles competitive against tougher opponents, Ball could make Lakers fans forget all about his form in a split second.
