After making comments earlier this week that Dennis Smith Jr. should have been a Knick, LeBron James was booed when his Cleveland Cavaliers visited New York to play the Knicks on Monday.
LeBron James booed at MSG, gets into scuffle with Enes Kanter
The Madison Square Garden crowd booed LeBron after his comments about Frank Ntilikina.
The Knicks drafted Frank Ntilikina instead, and several of his teammates came to his defense after the apparent slight from James. Ntilikina bumped James in the first quarter during a dunk, and LeBron got into the rookie’s face.
That prompted Enes Kanter to pull-up on LeBron in defense of his rookie, causing an early scuffle between the two teams.
The Knicks hold a 12-point lead here in the second quarter.
