The Kyrie 3 has, across the board, been a great shoe for Kyrie Irving and Nike. I’m not sure if it’s his best, but that’s a testament to how great his signature shoe line has looked so far.
Kyrie Irving’s newest Celtics’ themed shoe are ... different
WHAT ARE THOOOOOSE?

With that being said, though, Irving’s latest Celtics’ themed colorway for the Kyrie 3 is... interesting. Take a look.
These shoes look like they’re made for diehard Celtics fans — which is fine. I just don’t know how many other reasons there are to wear them.
This is a player-exclusive shoe, meaning that Irving will be wearing this on the court. When it’s sold it’ll only be in limited quantities. It’ll be available exclusively on Friday at Foot Locker’s House of Hoops in Harlem and in Boston.
This isn’t the first time we’ve seen Irving try out a Celtics-themed, player-exclusive shoe, either. He wore a version with a clover-covered toecap on opening night.
Those were a bit different, but they weren’t quite as out-of-the-box as the latest player exclusive he’s dropping.
Irving is going to wear these on the court at some point. Thursday night’s game against the Warriors seems like a logical spot for him to wear them, so maybe they’ll look better in person and on his foot.
But upon first glance, these shoes aren’t for me. But the great thing about shoes is that there are different flavors and colors for everyone. So I’m sure these shoes will get love somewhere.
