Case Keenum was flagged for taunting in the Lions’ Thanksgiving Day matchup with the Vikings. He shouldn’t have been.
Case Keenum was flagged vs. Lions for the weakest taunting call ever
Technically this could be “a celebration on the ground,” but it’s a stretch.

Keenum took a sack from Ezekiel Ansah near the end of the third quarter. When he got up, he tossed the ball lightly in Ansah’s direction.
Meanwhile, Ansah is rolling around on the ground, which looks a little more like taunting.
The sack came on third down, and the Vikings were forced to punt.
It’s not the first bad call in this game. Refs initially ruled that the Lions had scored a touchdown in the first half, though Darren Fells clearly didn’t complete the catch.
The NFL’s rules on taunting say that “players are prohibited from engaging in any celebrations while on the ground.” Technically Keenum is on the ground, but he’s not exactly celebrating. Maybe he said something that the ref thought qualified as taunting and we just didn’t hear it. But this seems pretty low-key for a taunting penalty.
