NYC Marathon 2017: Time, TV schedule, map, route, and street closures
The New York City Marathon is just about here, and we have all you need to know to watch.

But the women’s side is stacked the most. Kenya’s Mary Keitany set the women’s only marathon world record in London earlier in 2017, and she has won the marathon in New York the last three times. She’s looking to become the second woman ever to win the New York Marathon four times.
Edna Kiplagat is in the field, as well, and she’s trying to become the first woman since 1989 to earn a win in the Boston Marathon and New York Marathon in the same year. Shalane Flanagan is the best American in the field, and is the best hope for an American winner.
There are five men in the field who have run under 2:07, including Wilson Kipsang. But most notable for the men is American Meb Keflezighi, who is racing his final marathon. He is calling it a career after Sunday’s race, and he’ll go out with a very impressive record that includes a win in New York in 2009.
