Blake Bortles isn’t the most accurate quarterback, and sometimes that puts Jacksonville Jaguars receivers in a tough spot. Rookie Keelan Cole learned that Sunday when he was wide open across the middle of the field in the first quarter and forced to grab a pass that was behind him and high.
Jaguars WR Keelan Cole used one hand to catch a trash pass from Blake Bortles
Sometimes Jaguars receivers are forced to make ridiculous catches. It’s just part of the job.

Luckily for the Jaguars, Cole was up to the task and hauled in a ridiculous one-handed grab.
Inaccurate throws from Bortles have resulted in interceptions in the past when they tipped off Jaguars receivers’ hands and sometimes their feet. Just a few plays after Cole’s catch, he rifled a throw across the middle that bounced off a Jaguars receiver and was almost picked off.
On the next drive, Bortles did a nice job to avoid pressure and then missed a wiiiiiiiide open Marcedes Lewis.
Sorry Jaguars receivers, you’re probably going to have to keep making spectacular catches from time to time.
