Onside kicks aren’t rare. Perfect ones are. But we saw one from the Dolphins against the Raiders on Sunday night.
The Raiders handed the Dolphins an onside kick with this idiotic formation
This is flawless execution by the Dolphins.

The Raiders’ formation made this a perfect onside kick opportunity for Miami. There’s nobody within four yards of the restraining line. They basically begged the Dolphins to try an onside kick.
Parkey kicks the ball 13 yards, and nobody from the Raiders is close enough to recover. As if that execution weren’t enough, Parkey recovered his own dang kick.
Unfortunately, the drive fizzled out when Kenyan Drake fumbled and the Raiders recovered. But this was still a hell of an onside kick.
