Hey, nothing to see here, except — oh wait, that’s Cardinals quarterback Blaine Gabbert dressed as the tooth fairy!
Blaine Gabbert lost the Cardinals’ QB challenge, and had to dress up like the tooth fairy
Michael Irvin dressed up, too!

Gabbert dressing like the tooth fairy also somehow led to Michael Irvin wearing a costume of him riding a unicorn:
Gabbert had to dress up because he lost the Cardinals’ throwing challenge. The team does it every week, and the loser ends up wearing weird clothes, or dressing up in a costume.
So how does the throwing challenge work?
It’s pretty simple, but the contest rules change weekly “depending on how Carson [Palmer]’s feeling,” Drew Stanton told ESPN’s Josh Weinfuss last January.
It’s been documented as a sudden-death contest. A garbage can is set up in the back corner of an end zone to throw goal-line fades.
The scoring goes as such:
- Pass in the can: 5 points
- Pass hits the can: 1 point
The winner of the game gets to design the costume or outfit for one or all of the participants. If the game is at home, the loser wears the outfit all pregame, and has to show up on the field with it.
They can get pretty ridiculous
That’s a game I would hate to lose.
