Here’s a quick summary of their beef which includes throwing hands, Mirotic ending up in the hospital and them not speaking to each other for a little while.
In the Bulls big win against the Celtics, the two had a moment. Portis assisted a Mirotic layup and the two low-fived.
Could they have made up? It’s possible. Is it a situation of you not getting along with a co-worker and swallowing your pride because they’re not going to mess your money up? Probably.
After the game, the Bulls broadcast decided to have an interesting segment the end of the game. Since they both had a good game they both were part of the graphic.
This is too much of a coincidence to be a coincidence. The Bulls have been trash this year, so I don’t mind if someone on the TV crew decided to crack some jokes about this incredibly awkward teammate relationship.
