Joel Embiid fouled Andre Drummond out, then trolled him

Embiid might as well have put on the referee’s uniform and ejected Drummond himself.

Andre Drummond had five fouls in the fourth quarter of the Pistons matchup against the 76ers on Saturday when he found himself checking Joel Embiid on the high block. Unfortunately for Detroit’s big man, that defensive possession was his last of the game.

Embiid went right at Drummond and drew a foul on his body before taking a tumble to the ground. Then, in all his trolling glory, made the same signal as the referee when tossing him from the game for his final foul.

Embiid and Drummond had a little beef heading into this one, and after scoring 30 points on 11-of-15 shooting in their first game, Philly’s center currently has 25 points and 10 rebounds in the second go-round.

Embiid definitely knew Drummond had five fouls on that possession, and went right at him to get his sixth. That’s a heady play by the 76ers big man. He deserves to taunt on this one.
