The Eagles needed a win on Sunday night against the Raiders to wrap up home-field advantage throughout the postseason. They got it, but there are plenty of reasons to be concerned about this team heading into the playoffs.

Nobody expected Nick Foles to come in and produce at Carson Wentz levels, but the version of Foles who showed up on Sunday night was particularly bad.

There is one huge difference between Wentz and Foles: Wentz can extend plays with his legs pretty effortlessly. Foles finished with 163 yards, one touchdown, one pick, and zero rushing yards. He consistently held onto the ball too long and found himself with nowhere to go.

Here are all of the winners and losers from the Eagles’ 19-10 win.

Winner: This silly play at the end

The Raiders still had a chance to win with a touchdown. With three seconds on the clock, Carr set off the standard series of laterals, but Jalen Richard dropped the ball. Derek Barnett recovered for the Eagles and ran it in to tack on six more points:

The spread on the game was 10 points. If the Eagles had kicked the PAT, they would have covered. Foles kneeled it out instead for the 19-10 win.

Loser: Nick Foles

We don’t want to keep harping on him, but if this version of Foles shows up in the playoffs, the Eagles may see an early exit.

The Eagles had a chance to take a lead into the half. Foles led a 12-play, 61-yard drive that fizzled out when he couldn’t complete a pass to convert a third-and-4. It was the fifth third down of the first half for the Eagles. They converted zero of them. To make matters worse, Jake Elliott missed the field goal attempt.

He tossed an interception in the fourth quarter, and the Eagles were lucky that the Raiders fumbled it right back to Philly on the next series.

The Eagles are still coasting off Wentz’s MVP-caliber season. They’ve got a first-round bye and home field throughout the postseason. But Foles may not be able to get it done for Philly.

Loser: So many turnovers

Speaking of, this game was a turnover fiesta. There were zero turnovers from either team in the first half. In the second half, there were six.

Derek Carr kicked off the turnover extravaganza with an interception in the third quarter. Patrick Robinson snagged it:

Luckily for the Raiders, the Eagles gave it right back:

But Marshawn Lynch was feeling generous, too. He lost one on the very next play, and the Eagles got it back:

Then Foles tossed a pick:

The Eagles caught a huge break with another Carr interception after the two-minute warning in the fourth quarter:

This one ended up giving the Eagles the chance to move into field-goal range for Jake Elliott to pull Philadelphia ahead 13-10.

Loser: Both kickers

This was a game where every single point — or missed kick — mattered. Both Jake Elliott and Giorgio Tavecchio missed kicks that would have given their teams an edge.

Winner: Eagles kicker Jake Elliott

But Elliott made up for it by nailing a 48-yarder with just 32 seconds left on the clock to give the Eagles a lead for the first time since the first quarter:

Winner: This Amari Cooper TD

The Raiders must have put plenty of time in the film room getting ready for this one. This double move Amari Cooper put on Jalen Mills is a page straight out the Giants’ playbook from last week:

Mills is toast, and Cooper could have walked into the end zone.

Winner: Jay Ajayi’s Santa Claus TD celebration

Ajayi was clearly in the Christmas spirit after he got the Eagles on the board in the first quarter. He celebrated by playing Santa Claus:

Santa Ajayi gave the ball to a lucky fan. That, plus the Eagles’ win, must have made her Christmas merry and bright.
