Joffrey Lauvergne was the only person who wasn’t creeped out by his dislocated finger

I’m not sure how

Any time a body part gets deformed, it looks really, really bad, even if it isn’t. You still don’t want to look at it.

That was the Spurs last night when Joffrey Lauvergne dislocated his finger in the middle of their game against the Thunder.

Lauvergne went in for a rebound, and then you can hear a scream in the video. Once he looks at his hand, you get a good feeling about what happened.

The camera catches a glimpse of it. Be warned: The image is graphic.

The finger looks like it wants to point somewhere, but it isn’t sure which direction. Gross. That looks extremely painful.

But, apparently, it didn’t bother Lauvergne much.

We can’t say the same for just about everyone else, though. Here were the best, and necessary, reactions to Lauvergne’s dislocated finger.

Gregg Popovich wanted no part of seeing it in action

Popovich ran from it. He doesn’t run from anything. Seriously.

After the game, the Spurs’ head coach admitted he couldn’t take it.

“I turned away. I’m a wiener,” Popovich said. “He acted like it was OK. It didn’t look that way.”

Same, Pop. I’m a wiener, too.

Can you blame us, though? That thing looked awful. In fact, that is 100 percent the proper reaction. There’s no shame in your game, Pop, and that’s a great thing.

The rest of the staff wasn’t having it, either

It wasn’t easy on the eyes. Spurs Assistant Coach Chip Engelland, who just looked like he’d had enough.

Assistant Coach Will Hardy, who was sitting next to him, looked like he agreed.

They were fed up.

Lauvergne may have been the only one who didn’t care

Shortly after the injury, Lauvergne was spotted having a laugh about his finger on the bench with Danny Green.

He almost certainly is not concerned that his finger was bent the wrong way. Shoutout to Lauvergne for playing through it and keeping a smile on his face while doing it. That’s tough.

Couldn’t be me, though.
