There may finally be closure in the Lorenzen Wright case. A man named Billy Turner has been charged with first-degree murder, according to a report from the Memphis Commercial Appeal.

In early November, the Memphis Police Department announced that they believed they found the murder weapon. On Tuesday, about a month later, they arrested Turner on charges of first-degree murder.

No further information has been released about Turner and the case as of yet. The case has been open since authorities found Wright’s body in the summer of 2010. On July 19, local authorities received a 911 call from someone believed to be Wright before it was interrupted by gun shots. On July 28, authorities discovered Wright’s body.

Wright was a star at the University of Memphis and spent 13 years in the NBA where he scored 6,191 points and snatched 4,943 rebounds. He was drafted by the Los Angeles Clippers and last played for the Cavaliers in 2009. Prior to that, he also had played with the Kings, Hawks, and Grizzlies. He was only 34 years old when he was killed.
