Donovan Mitchell has been on a tear over the last few weeks. He scored 20 points in four straight games before Thursday night’s game against the Rockets, including a special 41-point performance.

Mitchell doesn’t care if James Harden is in front of him.

He had more in store for the Rockets, though — specifically for their MVP candidate. Mitchell had James Harden stuck after he hit him with this nasty crossover:

Harden isn’t known for his defense, obviously, but no one wants to be crossed up — period. But when a rookie does it? It’s something else.

It remains to be seen if he’ll win Rookie of the Year, but it’s clear the Jazz have a special player in Mitchell either way.
