Texas A&M defensive end Myles Garrett is projected to be one of the top picks in the 2017 NFL Draft, along with Clemson quarterback Deshaun Watson.
Myles Garrett asks Jerry Jones and Cowboys to trade up for him
Garrett doesn’t want to go far from College Station.

On Friday, Garrett expressed his wanting to play for the Dallas Cowboys in a video posted by ESPN. He had the trade set up for Dallas and everything in his plea.
To be fair, it seemed like it was more of a wishful thing than anything else, as Garrett spoke with a smile.
“I’m speaking to you, Jerry,” Garrett said. “Mr. [Jason] Garrett, make it happen. Dak Prescott leads our team right now. I need you to take Tony Romo, take a couple picks, and give them to Cleveland so you can pick me up. Please, I’d love to play in Dallas, just make it happen.”
A tweeted emoji was a finishing touch afterward:
Garrett would want to play for the Cowboys for a number of reasons, like the fact that it’s a good fit for him, it is his hometown team, and it’s the closest place to his favorite taco dispensary.
On Friday, Garrett said that he was going to stay and watch the draft with his parents at home. If the Cowboys were to surprise us all and make the move, he wouldn’t have to go too far to join his new team.
