After two weeks of Speedweeks, it all concludes with the 2017 Daytona 500, the main attraction, and the start of the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series. Denny Hamlin, who won last year’s Daytona 500, is looking to be a back-to-back winner, while 21-year-old Chase Elliott is looking to be the first driver to win from the pole since Dale Jarrett in 2000.
2017 Daytona 500: Start time, TV schedule, and radio
NASCAR’s most famous race is upon us.
On Sunday, FS1 will start off prerace coverage at 11 a.m. ET on NASCAR RaceDay; at 1 p.m. ET, prerace coverage will continue on Fox with Fox NASCAR Sunday. The event itself kicks off at 2 p.m. ET on Fox, with the green flag being waved at 2:31 p.m. Lady Antebellum is slated to perform during Fox’s prerace show, while American Idol winner Jordin Sparks will perform “The Star-Spangled Banner.”
If you’d rather listen to radio coverage, the Daytona 500 will also be on both Motor Racing Network and SiriusXM.
