Rickie Fowler’s honoring Arnold Palmer with special edition custom high-top Pumas

Of all the tributes this week at Bay Hill, this one might be the best.

This week’s Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill has turned into something of a week-long tribute for one of golf’s legends, who passed away last year at the age of 87.

There’s already been a number of cool tributes from players, but perhaps none better than Rickie Fowler’s tribute to The King. He posted this photo of the custom version of his trademark Puma high-tops to Snapchat yesterday, complete with Arnie’s signature and a photo collage of some of the nine-time major winner’s best career moments.

It’s not often we see tribute shoes on the golf course, but it’s routine in other sports. Rick’s kicks here rank right up there with Antonio Brown’s cleats to honor Muhammad Ali during the 2016 NFL season. 10 flame emojis out of 10, if you ask me.
