Colin Kaepernick’s offseason of charitable work continues, as he’s donated $50,000 to Meals on Wheels, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

Kaepernick’s donation comes a day after President Donald Trump said at a rally in Louisville that NFL teams weren’t signing Kaepernick because of him.

Kaepernick’s donation likely isn’t a coincidence. Meals on Wheels could possibly face reduced federal funding if Trump’s budget is approved.

Just last week, Kaepernick helped get a plane to fly food, water, and aid to the people of Somalia. He’s been working with Love Army for Somalia, along with Ben Stiller, and others.

The GoFundMe page for Love Army for Somalia surpassed its $2 million goal in just four days. The money is going to be used to purchase rice, vegetable cooking oil, nutritional biscuits, flour, sugar, and porridge as food items. The 60 tons of supplies will be sent on Monday, March 27.

The two donations within the span of a week aren’t the only contributions Kaepernick has made. He pledged in September to donate $1 million in addition to the proceeds of his jersey sales for the 2016 season. He specifically said $100,000 a month for 10 months.

The list of donations that Kaepernick has made to various organizations is extensive, and you can view them all here.
