The second weekend of the NCAA tournament resumes Friday night with the Sweet 16 games from the East and South regions. The night kicks off with an intriguing game between the Butler Bulldogs and North Carolina Tar Heels in the South region. The Tar Heels are the favorites to be cutting down the nets in April, but Butler is the first of many tough matchups in front of them.

No. 2 Kentucky vs. No. 3 UCLA, 9:39 p.m. ET (CBS)
Either the UCLA Bruins or Kentucky Wildcats will be awaiting the winner of the first game. Both the Bruins and the Wildcats are coming off hard-fought second-round victories. Kentucky barely fended off a fierce Wichita State comeback to survive an upset, while the Bruins’ Lonzo Ball took over the game late against Cincinnati to push them through.
No. 3 Baylor vs. No. 7 South Carolina, 7:29 p.m. ET (TBS)
Action in the East region kicks off with the South Carolina Gamecocks facing off with the Baylor Bears. The Gamecocks are in the Sweet 16 for the first time in program history, and got this far by knocking off the mighty Duke Blue Devils in an intense battle last weekend. Baylor stays alive as a potential dark horse to win it all, fending off the USC Trojans last week, and now having to meet another USC team for the second time in as many games.
No. 4 Florida vs. No. 8 Wisconsin, 9:59 p.m. ET (TBS)
The winner will be awaiting either the Wisconsin Badgers or Florida Gators in the Elite Eight. Wisconsin shocked the country when the knocked off top-seeded Villanova last week, and have many believing they can make a Final Four run of their own. Florida dismantled Virginia last week, only allowing 39 points in a stellar defensive performance. Expect a methodical defensive game here, as both teams favor a slower, more careful style of play.
