The driver was arrested on suspicion of DWI, and four people were injured.

The driver of the vehicle was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated. Boykin was taken into custody on possession of marijuana and public intoxication charges, according to Dallas County Jail records obtained by the Dallas Star-Telegram. The charges Boykin is facing are all misdemeanors, and bond has not yet been set.
Several people sustained injuries in the crash, though none were life-threatening. The car struck four people on the sidewalk outside the bar, and a bartender inside the venue was also hit after the car crashed into the bar. Three people were hospitalized.
The Seahawks released a brief statement about the situation via the team’s Twitter account.
Boykin was a star quarterback at TCU, but went undrafted in 2016. Following his senior season, Boykin was arrested after he punched a police officer during a bar fight. He plead no contest to a resisting arrest charge.
After the 2016 draft, Boykin signed with the Seattle Seahawks on a three-year, $1.635 million contract to be Russell Wilson’s backup. Boykin played in six games last season, completing 13 of 18 passes for 145 yards, one touchdown and one interception.
