In our first-ever Secret Garbage Bracket, we each present our list of eight items that people universally seem to like a good deal ... but are actually, in fact, garbage. We present thing in bracket form because THIS IS MARCH AND IT IS THE LAW. We attempt to figure out the secretest garbage by broaching the following topics:

• Are massages creepy and unnecessary to one’s physical well-being? This may seem insane, but has more traction than you think.

• Is ketchup squiggly red sugar paste for children? Naturally.

• Is Avatar, which made a bajillion dollars, actually more of a spectacle than a respectable film that’s withstood the test of time?

• Do voice activated technological devices exist just because they ... can?

• How and why is social media so deeply full of garbage?

• Is the NFL, the country’s most popular sport, actually the most secret of garbage? ... and much more!
